Upper Valais Indoor Championships

The Upper Valais Young Football Players’ Association organises a national U12/U13 junior indoor football tournament each February in Brig and Naters.

Our objective is to support youngsters in their footballing and personal development.

In the last five years, we have given the football youth of Upper Valais the opportunity to pit themselves against major clubs such as

-        Old Boys, Basel

-        FC Basel

-        Young Boys, Berne

-        FC Zurich

-        FC Thun

-        FC Sion. 

This enables us to promote bonds of comradely sportsmanship that last a lifetime.

We have been able to count on the financial support of the Sepp Blatter Foundation every year.

Furthermore, it is always an absolute highlight for our players from all parts of Switzerland to know that Sepp Blatter is present.

We firmly believe that the personal presence of our “Sepp” and the financial grant of the Sepp Blatter Foundation provide an important boost in the development of each individual young player.

On this note we would like to express our warm thanks for this support and naturally hope that these links between our association and the Foundation continue to flourish for many more years.
